My Meeting with Alexander Kerensky. A lecture by Howard Winkler. In 1953, Howard Winkler was a 20-year-old college senior and one of three members of a program committee that asked Alexander Kerensky to address their student group. For eight months in 1917, Kerensky had been in the headlines as a member and then president of the Provisional Government of Russia, from the time that Emperor Nicholas II abdicated in February until the Bolshevik revolution that replaced the government with the communist state in October of that year under Vladimir Lenin. Main Hall, followed by refreshments in the Drop-In Room. Free. ASA


Reminder about electronic product help on the first three Tuesdays of each month.  You must sign up in the drop-in room (you can call and ask to have your name put on the list)!  You will be seen in the order that you sign up so be sure your name is on the list.  1 to 4 pm.

The ASA is excited to announce a new creative writing class and Instructor.

ASA Creative Writing Class.  We are excited to be able to offer a new creative writing class in the Senior Center with freelance writer, author, and Arlington resident Holly Lebowitz Rossi. This six week course is on Thursdays, 9:00-10:30 in the Arts & Crafts Room, April 27—June 1. $60.00 for six classes. A sign-up sheet is available in the Drop-In Room.  Call ASA at 781-316-3420 and leave a message.
